(1) If a candidate is elected unopposed in accordance with Section 25 of the Act, the Election Officer shall announce that such candidate has been elected unopposed in accordance with Schedule-9 and publish a copy of the announcement in his office and inform the Commission immediately.
(2) Candidates who are elected unopposed in accordance with sub-rule (1) will be given a certificate only after receiving the election results of such local level.
